The feeling to carve will come back- provided you dont sell your tools. When I get bored or A.D.D with carving I try my hand at a different style. Birds, Chip carving, relief, characature, woodburning, and turning. Then I get back to doing what i really want to. Good luck with it.

Thanks guys, I think I'll try to sell a few. That was a good idea and made me smile.

I think that could have been the problem, I pick up all my carvings I had in a seasonal shop, because I had a both I was sharing at a Rodeo with my In Laws. They decided at the last minute they didn't have enough room, and all the carvings in my box just looked like junk. The box was even placed in the garage next to the other junk.
I'm going to take that junk to a neighboring city and unload it (after I photograph it). It will give me a clean fresh start and maybe the desire will come back.
I wish I knew some people in Bend Oregon that carved? Does anyone?

Randall
