Great carving whats more impressive that you did it all by knife. BTW that is also a great looking knife.

Hi Vic,
Nice job. You are using my tool of choice. I only wish I could carve all my pieces with just a knife.

Thumbs up Re: Delbert

Vic .. Your face looks great ... your really getting the caricature look down pat ...Your face , body , painting .. all of it is just improving so much in so little time ..

You have come so far since your first piece and I can see you having a great time doing it ..

But be careful .. The better you get .. the more family members and friends alike will be bugging you for whatnot and mantle pieces for their homes ..
Just a warning ...

By the way .. that is a great looking knife .. what is that handle made of ?

Great job

Gene

Thanks
Gene I know what you mean about people bugging YOU for YOUR carvings Ha. Ha.The more i carve the more I'm enjoying it the only think its taking up most of my spare time and belive me i don't have a lot of spare time but thats what drawed me to this type of carving a piece of wood and a knife and your set.Gene the handle is Sassfass I'm pleased with this knife the blade is made out of Tungsten steel and the bigger handle is helping with the pain in my hands after carving a while!!!
Thanks all the nice words
Vic.

Vic,
i agree with gene,
hope you dont have to big of extended family, or youll make some of them mad.
ive had some waiting for over 5 years for some things i cant get behind, like refrigerator maginets grape clusters and segmented puzzle lizzards..

the more you carve the more of your carvings gets out to be seen, and the more of the family has for you to do..

keep up the trend and youll be a favorite family hit soon

Vic, That's a real nice looking fella. I can see why the family will be buggin you for a carving. I am, however, curious as to why you didn't make the paint too. Yesh! talk about a turn key operation. Harvest the wood, make the knife, carve the character, and paint him....Great job! Don't stop now--as if you could. Tom H
