Here are some pics, of the great carvings at Dayton. I asked permission before taking pic. I tried to get the persons name in the pic. This is just a small sample of what was there. I like caricatures so that is what I took pics of. Lots of other styles at the show. You have to see this show, to believe how great it is. I hope this link works, first time I have done this! Excellent pictures. I really like being able to magnify the pics on that link!! Gives a better view of the carvings, and what a collection of carvngs they were. My mother lives in Louisville KY, so I think maybe I need to visit her during the show next year. Will be an amazing coincidence don't you think? Honey, we are so close, it only makes sense to drive to Dayton for a day, right?

Thanks for all the good coments!
To me the attendence was up on Sat. compared to last year. I was talking to one carver who said sales at his booth were very good. His items were in the $20 & $30 dollar range. That was just one case, I don't know how others did.
