| | Re: Cowboy with Saddle-Project Compete Thanks, Lynn, I'll give that a try. One more question, if I may? I put up a picture of one of your cowboys with the lantern, did a bit of scale measurement and came up with that lantern being about 3 1/2" tall, not counting the bail. Is that about right?

I really like that you have shared the process that you go through from beginning to end.
Your style is very detailed and the presentation is excellent (not to mention the carving skills). |

My wife Frances and I visited you and Judy a few, maybe five years ago at you Jay, OK "RANCH" while we were teaching at War Eagle. Thanks for that memory and so good to see your web site-gallery and getting to know you through this medium. Talk later, Don Mertz, the WOOD BEE CARVER. |

Whow!! Just Absolutely a beautiful piece. Fantastic details, master of carving, and so gracefully painted, a sure winner.
For those of you who didn't get a look at this piece in progress, please check out Lynn's other pictures of this cowboy with saddle, you'll be amazed.
Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see more of your work.
