Playing around with it! I'd like to see something you carved when you aren't playing around!!!! Beautiful carving I love the color of the bark. Is is cottonwood or mystery wood? Love your Avatar...

Kathy It is cotten wood bark a friend gave to me from his trip to the mid west(?) The color is almost orange... Thanks 4 the nice coments (all)

Impressive! I've been wanting to try carving bark and I wounder, are some species better than others, is one the best?

I think you did a nice job carving the cotton wood bark myself,plus being from NC,you couldnt be all bad!! LOL
