| | Colin's Mountie I told Colin I was working on a Mountie for him. Well I couldn't sleep last night so I sat up and finished him. Made from basswood he stands 7" tall and about the same around. I hope I got the colors right. I went by what it said in the book I have. I'm sure I will hear about it if it's not right. Ron |

| | Re: Colin's Mountie Ron,
He's terrific! What a friendly guy. I'm sure Colin will get a big chuckle out of that.

| | Re: Colin's Mountie Ron, You did a great job that is one fabulous carving. Especialy with your visual deficiency that is wonderful. The only thing I will comment on Ron is that a Mounties parts are royal blue not brown with the yellow stripe. I hope that you didnt take that profile of me. Not that the profile isnt mine. Probably too many Molson Canadian. Ron that is one great carving I am honored that you fashioned it after me. Colin |

| | Re: Colin's Mountie That is one cute Mountie, Ron! Well done indeed! Maybe now you can do a Michigan Sate Trooper?? We wear a garrison hat and a blouse similar to the Mounties, except midnight blue,
and blue gray trousers with a midnight blue stripe! Expression is about the same and we DO eat donuts! \
Just kidding, but that is a neat piece of work!

| | Re: Colin's Mountie Dave I also thought about a donut but wasn't sure either. Colin I thought the pants should be royal blue but I was going by what the book said. I can change that. Marci It's got to be clean or at least organized for me to be safe. I have to have system for everything. If someone comes in and moves my knives around I will more than likely get cut. So nobody messes with my area. Al send me a picture of a Michigan state trooper and I will do one. |
