Default Coffee and a toothpick - finished

Well, I finished the carving that I had photos of in the WIP folder.

The man is 6 inches high and the base is 1 inch thick.

It is from a single block of basswood. To finish it I used clear sanding sealer with a coat of paste wax.

I'm experimenting with the "plain wood look". I've always liked that look.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I plan to use it as a toothpick holder on my desk at work.

Great job Mike.....you may want to bolt it down though, someone may take a shine to it!!! LOL That's a nice bit of carving and a super idea.

Very nice ... and don't even THINK about painting it or anything done like it. Perfect as it is.
