 Civil War pattern I was wondering if anyone out there has Tom Wolfes Civil War bust pattern that he uses in his video? A member of my club has the video but nobody we know has the pattern. Does anyone know if it is in one of his books or where we can obtain it? Â*Any help would be appreciated.   |

| Re: Civil War pattern I don't know the video you're talking about, but it just so happens that my husband bought me Tom Wolfe's 'Carving the Civil War' book for Christmas. I'd be happy to send you any pattern from the book, if I know which one you're looking for. The book has probably 12 or 14 patterns. | Re: Civil War pattern Just to update anybody that can help. My friend who has the video said that the video is called carving Desparados. However, in the video Tom walks you through cutting out and carving a bust of a Civil War soldier. Now, I am not sure if the pattern for this would be found in Toms book on Desparados or if it would be in his Civil War book. The video pre-dates the books. I hope that this helps and that with this info someone out there can direct me in the correct direction. Thanks to all for your assistance in advance. |

| Re: Civil War pattern Check out Carving Desperadros with Tom Wolfe. Schiffer book ISBN 0-7643-0097-0. Page 60 thru 64 Side view of several different bust with pictures of finished carvings. This should get you close to where you want to be.  New Year and Carving To ALLWoody01 |
