Default Christmas present

Just finished carving this bust as a gift for a friend. He's a buddy who I go muzzleloader shooting with and he is also a trapper (yeah I know some folks might not like it but that stuff does happen). He came by the user name"Halftail" after a less than successful hunting expidition that we went on a few years ago.

Soggy nice gift for a friend. People ought to learn that is more than going to the grocery store.

I made the trap out of a piece of alumimium flashing that I had. The pan is the head of a roofing nail. I just cut the aluminum into the right size strips, punched a couple holes in it, then formed the jaws, and the spring , put it together, and painted 'er black..............
If you wanted to do something like this and didn't have any aluminum flashing I think that maybe a piece cut out of your favorite beverage can would work just as well..........
Hope this helps
Wayne
