Default A Chip Carver that can't spell

Hi All,
My latest caricature is nearing time to give it a paint job. The premise is a chip carver that can't seem to spell very good. It's a bit difficult to see but I just thought he should be wearing a pair of fuzzy bunny slippers ;O). Not sure where that thought came from but it seemed like a good idea at the time ;O)). The Frankenstein bolts coming out of his head will be turned into knobs on the optivisor. He will, of course have a mispelled word carved in the piece he is working on. The only thing lacking is his knife which will be added soon. If ya see anything else I have forgotten, ya won't make me upset if you tell me LOL. Hope you enjoy this one.

Very nice carving Jim. If the fellow can't spell he probably aint too bright, so why not have his carving glove laying on the floor. Be sure to post when he's painted.

Hi Jim,

It does look good. One other idea perhaps to reinforce the goof idea - make one or two other boards that have a variety of mistakes on them and lean them along the front edge of the table as rejected pieces - then maybe on the floor - covered with the carving glove - a dictionary.....?

I love the slippers! It is such a woodworker thing! I have to tell you that I read your post as I came in from my shop...you know what? I am still in my sweat pants...and my slippers! I was just going out there for a sec, honest! Now I am covered with sawdust and ready to start my day! Thanks for the great image! A really great project! You captured so many carvers!
