Hi All, I just found out that a good friend just loves chickens(don't ask me why...I just know they taste good!...LOL!). I am in need of some ideas for finding a pattern for a chicken...I was thinking about maybe doing "Foghorn Leghorn" or maybe "Miss Prissy" from Warner Brothers cartoon characters. My friend is a Family Nurse Practioner and I would lean towards doing "Miss Prissy" in a lab coat and with stethiscope around her neck. Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated! Chahlie |

Gary Batte has a caricature chicken pattern in one of his books. Can't remember the book right now. Edit: A quick search found it - http://www.foxchapelpublishing.com/p...ls.cfm?PC=1782 Last edited by Mitchell; 07-19-2006 at 08:34 AM. |

Hi All, Thanks for all your help...you too Ash! Why didn't I think of a rubber chicken as a model. Heck it's even 3 dimensional and poseable. Thanks for your suggestions to Thomas, Tom H., and Mitchell. Close to what Al??the riduculous or the sublime?? Sincerely, Chahlie Last edited by Chahlie; 07-22-2006 at 12:38 AM. |
