Default carving for 8 months first pic , posted

Tell me what you think , this will be the first time i've posted any photos, I started carving in Feb, this year. these were carved last month.

I love both of these guys – the pattern on the Captain's sweater is great. And the surfer is too cool. Is the surfer your own design?

8 Months???? I would say you found your niche.......Very great carvings. I'm curious to know also if the surfer is your design?

Yes the Surfer is MINE !! the Sea captian was a a gift for my Boss ( Swiss born ) He had a plastic sea captian that looked just like the one you see. He thought the one had was wood untill he droped it, and asked my to duplicate it. I was up for the challange. I really like the cotton in the pipe , what do you guys think.
