Default Brienz carving

My Boss is in Swisserland , ( his homeland ). He knows I carve , because sometimes , I carve when I should be working. But he sent me a photo of a carving in a woodcarving shop in Brienz, ( famous town for woodcarving ). thought you guys might like to see it also.

I spent some time in Brienz a few years ago. There were some very nice (and expensive) carvings, plus a lot of figures made for the tourist trade. While there I got to chat with the master carver in the workshop at Huggler's - a lovely young woman working on a commemorative plate for a local organization. So, not all master carvers are shrivelled up old men.

Looks more like 15" inches tall to me - if the shelf above has a front edge depth of one inch.

Nice carving. It'd be nice to take a trip there and see more.

Ed H: You could win a free trip for 2 to Brienz in the Woodcraft/Pfeil contest! See the "Wow! What a Contest" thread from Shannon in Publisher Feedback.
