Awesome carving Joe! As a child we spent the summers in upstate NY, we had a pump just like the one in you scene. I visited the place last year, most has changed but the pump is still there. I remember using the pump with my grandfather over 40 years ago. Great memories!

Joe, that's a fantastic scene!.....well carved and painted. Brought back some memories of the cottage I lived in during the summers when I was young. We had a pump in the back yard that looked just like that! That's a great job, and I love the boys' faces! Bonnie

Dave, that's a neat picture. Looks like the handle broke off that old pump. I'm glad this little carving brought back some memories.

Bonnie, glad you enjoyed it. It brought back memories as I carved it too.
