Default "The Boss "

I have again been ask again by our local T.A. M. S . to carve a total of six flat plane figures for the folk art section of their museum ..
They are a wonderful place to allow woodcarving to be a part of their showings ..

Here is the first piece I finished .. I titled it "The Boss " and it is 7 inches high and carved in the flat plane style of basswood and painted with acrylics ..
I think Iam going to have alot of fun with these six pieces ...

Hope you enjoy it ...

Thanks for letting me share ..

Gene

Yea thats a boss for sure! The museum knows how neat and "orginal" your carvings are and thats why they always want more of your work on display!

Your unique style which is hand carved, whittling,is the folk carving that was pasted down and you more than can create and come up with such neat caricatures as this one plus Im sure the others you have to carve for the museum will be just as great as this Boss. Its always a pleasure to see you have a new carving on board! Thks for them,Gene !! Forrest
