| | Re: The Bishop's in South Carolina Sounds like a fun weekend Mark! Hoping that I can get into one of their classes in 2007, along with a few other instructors. Let us know how the class turns out!

| | Re: The Bishop's in South Carolina Mark, please don't wear them out, I have a date with them on Oct. 3, 4, and 5. I'm looking forward to the seminar. They will be at Smoky Mountain Woodcarvers on Sept. 29, 30, and Oct. 1 also. That class sold out so quick that they asked them to stay over for the Oct. 3, 4, 5 dates. Myself and 3 others moved to the later dates to allow people who couldn't take 3 days off in the middle of the week a chance to catch them on the weekend class. They are very popular, and like you said, you get two for the price of one.

| | Re: The Bishop's in South Carolina Bob,
I tried to get in to one of those 3 slots and they filled up faster than the floor with chips during a carving contest. I guess I will try to catch them next year, but I'm calling in November to see if they have the schedule made yet. Sure do need some classes!!

| | Re: The Bishop's in South Carolina What a class!!!
We finished up our class Sunday at around 5:00,everyone left with a really good finished carving.I would highly recommend the Bishop's for a seminar, they are as personable out of the class as they are in it.They really get enjoyment out of a student leaving with a finished carving. Here are a few pictures of the blanks you have to choose from and our class. |
