Default Biker in progress

Here is a biker that I am working on. It is out of Bass Wood and stands about 10.5 inches tall. I'm trying to decide whether to put him on a simple stand or place him in a scene. I'm thinking about something with a "Route 66" theme possibly. Any suggestions or comments?

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Good one there Mark, it reminds me of the movie "Road Hogs". Nice job!

Thanks all for taking the time to view my biker.

Corey, thanks for the kind words.

Daddio, thanks, I spaced the wallet on the chain. I bet you my next biker has a wallet. I did one for a friend and went all out with the wallet, tattoos, and all the trimmings.

Allen, thanks for the kind words. If you were hanging out in pool halls in Chatanooga back in the early 80's you may have shot pool with both of us back in the day.

Simon, glad you like him. Please feel free to use anything you can. After all that is part of the perks of belonging to the "forum family" to open our eyes and minds to different things and to share what we have.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Curt,
I almosted started a thread asking
"how in the world do you keep up with all the threads" I told my wife , if you miss one day you miss so much. But now I'm learning you don't even have to miss a day to miss something.

Thanks for looking.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

I suggest definately going with a route 66 theme. My first tattoo was a route 66 sign on my left forearm because it's my dream to cross it on an old harley of some kind. Don't really know how in depth of a theme you want but you could make a small plaque route 66 engraved on it and have him standing on it....and have where the title usually goes, or a saying put "the mother road" or something. Not sure....but great carving. I'm new to carving i'm only 20 so i have a ways to go to get better.
