I've been wanting to do a Scrooge figure for a while, and with the terrible weather here in the midwest the last few days, I have finally gotten to it. Here is my little villain, complete with gold tipped walking stick, and scowling face. No doubt giving the evil eye to some carolers, or whatever. He's nearing completion, and, I think he will become the centerpiece of a Christmas scene later. I'm not a santa Claus type carver, enjoy looking at them, but I prefer the "oddball type" characters. more unique and interesting. Anyway, enjoy, feel free to suggest, complain or whatever. I enjoy this forum so much, and have advanced leaps and bounds in just the last few months. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you. |

Great looking carving......but..it is good to have the carving pleasure when the snow is deeper than your window..thank heavens for basswood and sharp knives
