Default "The Artist ".."The Craftsman".."The Woodcarver"

Since we have been discussing this subject so much lately .. I thought I might as well use it as a title for my latest piece ..

Once again I have been ask to break the tradition of my usual miniature fun and carve this piece for the local folk art area in our T.A.M.S. museum in town .. They wanted something bigger then 3 inches tall .. So here it is ..

I call it "The Artist " .. The Craftsman" .. The Woodcarver" .. Take your pick ..

It was a fun project to do ... and the woodcarver presents the style of a old country fellow just having the time of his life like most of us do .. the project is 8 inches high and carved in the flat plane style with a knife and v -tool ..

I hope you enjoy it ..

Sorry for the pun ..

Gene

Nice piece of work Gene! Really clever. It's nice to see that out of all this pointless discussion someone came up with something really worthwhile. A real work of art. (Actually, a work of Gene!)

Gene, you have captured the spirit of the discussion with a well done carving and piece of art. I can find the"aritist" the "craftsman" and the "woodcarver" but for the life of me I can not find the "pick" LOL Thanks for your good Humor. Donald K. Mertz
