Default 9 Toes Nelson

I've been away from the board for a while, practicing and, hopefully, learning some things.

Meet 9 Toes Nelson. He's bald as a billiard ball and almost as smart. He's been wearing that expression on his face ever since the day be became known as 9 Toes.

He's carved from basswood, 1.5"x1.5"x6". The rifle is integral to the block, not an attachment.

All comments welcome.

Bob

Great carving Bob! I'm guessing that curl in his lip and the fact that you've named him "9 Toes" means that he didn't know that gun was loaded when he rested it on his toe?.........

Thanks, Forrest. It's good to see you still here.

Got it in one, Soggy.

Thanks, Robert. The striped shirt was easy. Just paint on the base color and use a felt-tip pen to draw on the stripes. Plaid, now, that will be a challenge. I'm still doing lovespoons in between the cowboys and Santas.
