| | 63rd Tenn Christmas Ornament Hello again everyone.
We have had back, to back, to back, to back, reenactments so I have been a stranger about these parts for awhile now. It is good to be back!
I finally had time to sit and whittle a bit tonight. So after supper I started another Christmas Ornament for our regimental ornament exchange. You have already seen the little brogan boots and canteen. Those are for my sons to put into the pile. I will be exchanging this little guy. He is not painted yet, as you can see. I will do that tomorrow I recon. I probably should have waited but I was just excited about taking up the knife again.
I "still" have to contact the local carving club through the Doctor friend of a member on here. I am not lazy or indifferent . . . just have been WAY TO BUSY!!! There are to many irons in the fire so to speak.

| | Re: 63rd Tenn Christmas Ornament Hi Joe, what a terrific ornament, excellent carving I hope you will share him again after he's painted.
You mentioned reenactments, you are a reenactor? We have the Rough Rider's reenactor's (I'm not a reenactor) here in Prescott, AZ. They are a wonderful group.

"I know all about Irons In the Fire"
I've been retired for 8 years and it gets worse, the old boys uptown wanted me to have coffee in the morning I said give me a couple of years and I'll be caught up then I'll have time. I don't think I'll ever get caught up at this rate...
