Default 1st Caricature{Hobo} 1 1/8" X 3/4"

Most of the times I only relief carve but looking at Gene Messer's little guys I wanted to try carving a little hobo~ Hes carved in apple wood,I had carved some larger apple carvings a few wks ago,I saved 4 small chips when I busted the apple stump into.

This little guy is 1 1/8" X 3/4",thought Id share this little Hobo with everyone on here that likes caricatures~

Vic,well I have alot of dexterity in my hands,my right one more than my left.My father could write with either hand plus play base ball, batting and catching the ball with either hand also.My hands are nothing like his was.Like painting,I can use a large brush but find in the tip of the brush hairs about 3-4 hairs, that I can paint or dot something with even thoug its a larger paint brush. I hope this makes sense?? Gald you liked this little Hobo,it was fun to try in carve him and while painting him, making him come to life!
