I've got 1/2 a dozen Ramelson tools and have had no problems with them. Ramelson was one of the brands Pete LeClair recommended.

I've had the complete set of Ramelson micro tools, the 117H set which I think is the smallest they make, for several years and have had no problems with them. I've also got 25 or 30 of their larger tools and haven't had any problems with them either. I have broken a Dockyard micro gouge, but that was my fault.
