Default Would this help me any?

I have resently purchased "Carving the Risen Christ" by the author Ivan Whillock. I have been doing some investigation and have stumbled upon this book made by Ivan: Traditional Woodcarving Basics with Ivan Whillock - 2 DVD Set. Could this help me any? He mainly shows you relief carving in it, but I suppose the same basic technic works for any type of traditional carvings.

Anything that has Ivan Whillock's name on it, books, DVD's etc will provided benefits to anyone that wants to learn how to carve wood.
Yes it mainly is about relief carving but he does discuss such things such as tools, their use, techniques and sharpening, so what you learn from him will be of benefit to you whatever type of carving you want to do.

Cheers
OG
