Default Woodworm

I think I have woodworm in a piece of beach I spent 1 yr carving I put it in the freezer for two weeks. Should that have killed them? Any suggestions of the best way to kill woodworm without damaging the wood? I can't see any new holes, but want to make certain before I wax the piece.

Thanks,

Ruby

I once asked experts how long any fly-type critters could live in venison after I froze it. (I once shot 2 deer on Dec. 1 and the next day we butchered it was 66° and we were shooing away yellow jackets) and I'm pretty sure they said either 2 weeks or 4 weeks frozen. I forget. You're probably all right. If you want to be sure, put it back in for 2 wks. I suspect they're fairly freezer-burned already, though.
