Default Wood from eBay
Anyone use the bowl turning blocks usually listed on eBay for carving in the round? Or is the size and shape not that usefull?

If you want hardwood...most turning blocks are hardwood...most of us use basswood or butternut for carving...there are some that are gluttens for punishment tho lol
