Was asked to make a small Salt Bowl and spoon for a friend so this is what I came up with . Still have to seal it with Bee's wax but that can wait till tomorrow Cheers and thanks for lookin AL |

Thats well cool Fly next time yer up this way make it the summer time and I'll see about gettin ye a days fishing on the river Dee here . Made another of thse wee salt Bowls this evening Its a bit deeper but made from the same branch of Beech . Its great wood to work with and I was told that if its being used for salt to just use Olive oil on it So thats what Ive done . It realy brough out the colours and the grain of the wood. Nice one AL the spoon is a better shape on the new one and bowl is good too.....if you don't mind me saying AL, the spoon could do with being a little thinner at the front edge mate so it will scoop up rather than push around the salt.
