Last week it was 76 here in south central WV. We never ran the furnace for 2 weeks. Now it's 8 outside but only about 2" of snow. My electric heater in my work shop is just keeping it about 50 in there and my shop is well insulated , Just cold out. Can't complain after what some people have been through this year already. Mike

Spring is a long way away! We're in the middle of a good old fashioned snowstorm here today......40 cm of snow and 90 kmh winds. (That's 16" of snow and 55 mph winds to our Southern neighbours). Weathers mild though, just -15 this morning......my dog had me out the other night for a walk and it was -22 , with a windchill to -38. Damm but that bites! Dog loved it though......that's what I get for having a Siberian Husky!

Winter is not my favorite time of year. Good day for carving indoors though.

Bob

Unhappy Re: weather

Been the same here in WI cold-cold-cold. Only good thing about it is I seem to get a lot more carving done when it like this. Too cold to go out the old bones creak too much. oldbearx2

This is great carving weather, there's a lot of incentive to stay inside! The good news is it's supposed to get all the way up to 22 F tomorrow...but it's also supposed to snow. Miserable to be outside in but it is kind of pretty.
