Colin (colin_partridge) is our resident expert, although there are others here as well.

You may want to search some old threads (use the "search" function and type in "chainsaw")....this should give you some good background material.

if your interested in chainsaw carving this is the site to be. I visit it faithfully every day. I dont post that much as my carvings are pretty amature compared to these guys.
