Smile Very First Carving...Feedback appreciated and wanted!!

Hi guys!

I finished carving my very first carving!!
I was watching one of Gene youtube videos, one about a Hobo. But I guess I changed my mind ended up making a bald guy with a mustache.

Feedback, tips and advice greatly appreciated!!

Very nice job Patty! I can't believe that's your first carving...looks like you've been carving for years! Just keep on carving and keep up the good work! If you paint it I would love to see it when it's finished!

An excellent first carving. Nothing to really criticize, you just need to practice a lot and pay attention to Gene, he will help you develop your skills.
