Default U-Tube For Beginners

If any of you beginners are interested and have high speed internet ..

I have a new video in 10 parts on carving a figure out of a block of wood for you beginners without bandsaws .. I try and take you through the carving to completion ..

Simply go to u- tube and put woodcarving in search and Iam under the name whittler0507 for the videos .. Type in search Woodcarving a figure out of a block of wood ...

Below is the figure you carve out of the block already painted ..

Gene, I've got to say thanks for doing the videos. I've been watching them and have learned a lot. All the carving I've done has all been self taught from reading WCI magazine and a few books I've bought. I don't have too many hands on resources convenient to where I live and I believe your video is the first time I've ever actually watched anyone carve anything. I know you've put a lot of time in doing those and I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate them.
It has cost me a little though, I've bought a new knife because of you.

As of today Gene i will have all of your current videos downloaded and my little motley crew of carvers is finding them handy.
I lost my internet connection for the time being due to the fact we're in the process of moving so as long as the boss doesn't see me i'll have them all. And if you ever want to put out a DVD you can put my name down as the first buyer.
