Default Stores in Port St. Lucie

Hello, I want to try my hand at carving, as if I don't have enough hobbies already. I would like to know if there are any stores in or near Port St. Lucie, FL that I could purchase a set (a good set that will last me). I could buy it online but I would prefer to see them for myself.

Thanks in advance,
Julie-Ann

Sort of looks like you're between a rock and a hard place. Woodcraft lists stores in both the Orlando and Pompano Beach area and there's a Woodcarver's Supply on the other side of the state in Englewood. Sounds like an afternoon outing to me.

Why don't you give Smoky Mountain Woodcarver's in Tennessee or Little Shavers' in Oregon a call and tell them what you're looking for. Both are good people and won't steer you wrong. On top of it you can order by phone or by mail.

There's also Rick Ferry's online store. He has Beginner's kit of good quality, reasonably priced tools that won't break the bank.

Thank you whitecree and of course Eddy s, I quite like the Little Shavers Beginners Kit and I think I'll go with those. They are the best I've seen so far.
