Itasca Wood Products located in Northern Minnesota at itascawoodproducts.com has 4 to 6 foot pealed diamond willow pieces for carving. have gotten basswood from them, but not the diamond willow. Will probably order one with my next order. Dick

Thanks RWS
I knew theu carried wood but I did not know they carried sticks. Treeline also has them. Gene Bremer sells them.
I got mine from Ken Lagina. Gene's are not as expensive ans Ken's. I did not know about Gene untill after I had bought from Ken. Going to go check out Itasca Wood Products now.

I am new to carving and the diamond willow has sparked my interest. Does anyone have a walking stick done in diamond willow so that I can see what a diamond is?

Greg

Hi Ho Sliver,

Does Don Wedll have a Web Site?

I like the looks of the diamond willow and from the Web Site that Ric gave me I saw that it was carvable. I will be buying a few pieces to carve after the first of the month.

Greg

Does every diamond willow stick have 'diamonds' on it?

I purchased a diamond willow and removed the bark and I don't any 'diamonds'. Is it just kinda the luck of the draw?

Can you tell me how to get in touch with Don Wedll.

Thanks for posting Gene's web site. He is the other guy I was referring tooo earlier. I bought min from Ken Laninga in Canada before I knew about Gene Bremer. Gene does have better prices. Gene seels a 6 ft stick for $12 plus shipping. I had to pay Ken $20 for a 5&1/2 ft stick, plus shipping.

I would like to check out Don Wedll prices before I buy some more. Where is he located? Does he have a web site?
How do I get in touch with him?

Don Wedll.... Â* http://members.tripod.com/~woodsource/index.html

I looked at Gene Bremers site and I thought he was quitting business? not sure where I got that, unless it was some other diamond willow supplier I am thinking of. But Don Wedll has good prices. Tell him you heard about it from me.

Thanks Silver
Gene bremer just posted something on ASA a couple of weeks ago that he was going to give away 1 diamond willow stick every month.
Wish I had known about him in July. Big price difference in his and ken.

Going to go right now and check out Don Wedll
