Sharpening/honing Speedball gouges In a recent WCI several carvers where using a Speedball 1mm V-tool for fine lines. Last weekend I picked one up and found myself wondering wether I should just hone the rough ground edge (I think it is ground at what you wood call an obtuse (forward) angle) or do you re-shape it to a right angle I am used to with standard gouges? Your experience would be appreciated, as I perfer carving to grinding.
