Default Sharpening a Gouge

I read a very good article in WCI, Holiday 2010, Issue No. 53 by Mac Proffitt about sharpening gouges on a conical slip stone aka gouge stone. Unfortunately, Mr. Proffitt did not indicate where a person might purchase one of these stones. I wrote email messages to his sites @ mac@woodcarvers.com and www.woodcarvers.com enquiring where I might purchase a conical stone. I did not receive a reply from either site. Now I'm turning to my fellow carvers....help!!! Where would a person purchase a conical slip stone aka gouge stone. Wayne
