Re: What's in your toolkit? Just 'cleaned' it out, so this is easy - everything is laid out on the basement floor.
25 knives
22 palm gouges
3 intermediate size gouges
two punches (for making buttons)
glove and leather thumb guard
two rolls of athletic tape (for protection)
bandaids, 'super' glue,
compass, 5 pencils, flat strop, arkansas stone, diamond sticks, Flexcut gouge strop, compound, 3 rubber bands, three unfinished (and forgotten) small carvings, 7 scrap pieces of wood (approx 1/2 x 1/2 x 2'), pattern wheel, drill bit, toothbrush, scrap paper, paper towel (trash?), 6 business cards (3 mine, 3 others), old can of Skoal, 1 penny, 1 nickle, and wood chips....
I have more 'tools' than this, but these were the one's that I actually took around to carve with. This is entirely too much!I am in the process of reorganizing and want to have 4-5 gouges, 4-5 knives, and the Flexcut strop. |
