Default Where's my santa from

I got autumn clean-up out of the way and sat down to try my first Santa carving. Some one asked me where this santa hails from I and had to admit that I didn't have a clue . Are there any santa aficionados hang'n here that might shed some light on the subject.

Great carving elwood! What kind of tools did you use to carve him? I love the expression and details of his face!

He reminds me of your chainsaw wizard. Glad to hear you are still carving, and he looks like he'll turn out really well. I can see your own touch in spite of the influence from your model.
You've been quiet here lately.
