Somewere in microsofts update page ther is a section called tools. Once you find it upload the resizer. Then when you right click on an image resize will be in your popup menu. I will try to find the exact path to this tool and post it when I find it.

Lobo,

On my microsoft, I resize pictures this way:

All Programs/accessories/paint/images/stretch.skew

then here I put in the % shrink or enlarge I want picture to take on.

By the way, once there, click on the picture you want to resize first, then go to images/stretch.skew

Hope this helps.

Shimmy,

Okay, I got the download, but when I try to open the .exe file, my computer wants to know what program to use??????? It's a .php file, and I'm not familiar with these. So, I'm unable to open the software that now sits on my harddrive.

Hey Lobo, you must have something else going on with your computer.
Irfanview should arrive on your HD as a EXE file and when clicked on it should install itself.
Also don't forget to also download and install the plugins, these are a separate file from the program Irfanview download.
Irfanview should work okay on Win98 , it did for me before I switched in WinXP Home.

Any one of the Photo processing programs should have a function to adjust the size of your photos. I have Ulead PhotoImpact, Photosuite4, and Adobe Photo Deluxe. All three have resizer functions. I think the Kodak Imager that comes with Windows 98 has one too, but I haven't tried to use it yet.

Photosuite and Adobe came with my scanner as software, and another couple imagers came with my digital cameras.
