I don't power carve, I don't sand, and I don't use a dust collector.

It is for sure Spring allergy season here. Lot's of folks with "Cedar Fever," etc. Lots of wild flowers making more wild flowers which is also a problem.

I carve 95% of the time in basswood and I think it catches up to you over time, I never had a problem for a long time, but now it seems to bother me a little. I don't power carve, but I cut stuff on the bandsaw, chop saw, scrollsaw and even hand sanding...all creates more dust that we think! Hard to wear a mask, especially here where it gets downright warm in the summer...but I think I am going to have to do something..! Oh yes, I have a vacuum on the bandsaw, but more dust seems to get out than goes in the vacuum!
