Wink Rabbit Year - Low Relief Carving Attempt

Hi to all on the forum. February 3, 2011, is the start of the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Rabbit. I couldn't get a big enough block of wood to attempt a 3-D carving of a rabbit, so thought I'd attempt low relief carving instead (second attempt in low relief carving so far). Also (hurray) the hobby shop (in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) that I buy my supplies from have started importing thin basswood strips suitable for relief carving. Copied a rabbit pattern from an advertisement and started on the project late afternoon Jan. 31 and finished it this morning February 2, 2011. I'd like to share this project with you (see attached thumbnail - oops, forgot to position pic upright). So I already have bunnies ahead of Easter this year.

Lawrence (call me Ezzy, if you like ...)
