If you use one try not to touch two surfaces at once, it does n't like that one bit. Kicks like a Ranger center half.

Wood Carvers Supply, Inc. has the Kutzall, but they also have the Monster brand carbide cutters. These are more like rotary gouges, and will have a much smoother surface than the Kutzall. You do have to be careful of the wood grain direction, though. Look for the little search box on their web site, then enter the keyword "Monster". They're made in 1/8 inch shaft and 1/4 inch shaft both, and range in size from 3/4 inch ball on down.

Aulddiy, if yer breaking shafts on your Wecheer you are definitely working it too darn hard, more speed and less pressure works for me.

Cliff, where did you buy the inflatable sanding ball?? did you get it at Chipping Away? this would be just the thing I need ,I never heard of it ,is it new?

Hi Alice, yes Dennis has them, don't forget to buy the pump to pump it up with. I tried to use it in the flax shaft, it was too fast for it. I use it in my drill press and it works perfectly.
