I am new to carving and relatively new to this board.
I read the tutorial on posting a picture and thought I would try.
Here goes!

Steve

That was easy and painless, thanks to a good tutorial!

Neat little carving, thanks for posting it. Was this from a Jack Price pattern?

Yes it is from a Jack Price pattern, but I am not very good at following patterns. My knives and brushes need training..... I have done a number from his collection but I do mine 4" tall instead of the 2 1/2" shown on his patterns. Here is a side view of the same charicature. I think I am getting
the hang of this picture posting!

Thumbs up Re: Posting picture

Steve,
.Nice carving and congrats on your success on posting the picture. I am also realatively new to the forum and as soon as I can get my wife to down load some of the pictures of my carvings I am going to attempt to follow you lead and post a few also.

Hope to be able to see some more of your carvings!

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark
