| | Pictures... Finally!! OK! I did it! I posted pictures of my first Santa carvings. I can see much room for improvement, but I am pleased overall, I suppose! (I guess we're never satisfied with ourselves.)
Comments/critiques are welcome. I can see things I want to improve, but getting it "etched in wood" is a somewhat different matter!
There are some additional pictures in the album.
This one is my first!
This one is my second.
...and my latest, my third...

| | Re: Pictures... Finally!! Thanks for the kind words. I see a lot that I don't like about them, but ya gotta start somewhere!
I've started the next project, a stand up Santa from Joclyn's book. Her tutorial is very easy to follow, so it works for me! ![004[1]1](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/004[1]1.gif) Carvin' New Year, everyone!

Yep Old Jim, Ya ain't shabby at carving either. The little Christmas cowboy is being shared between Shaycee and her brother. I have asked for Shaycee's mother to take a picture of each carving. I really liked it . Well I liked them all.
