Default picture post attempt

This is my first attempt to post a picture of a carving, we'll see how it goes. I first carved one of these in a class with Dave Stetson and have since made 2 more. This one was a Christmas present for oldest daughter.

That's very well done Dryheat, very well done. If you are just beginning carving, then we will have much to look forward to from you in the future. You have a natural talent son, so keep up the good work.

Dryheat - First carving, huh? I can't wait to see your 10th !! That's great. I didn't get brave enough to try to carve "open legs" for 5 or 6 years of carving.
Everything about that carving looks good - the eyes, the painting, especially the hat.
Congratulations on a great job.
