Cool Patterns Confused

Ok I use to scroll saw Patterns However when carving there can be two or four for the same cut out How do you use four Patterns correctly for one cutout

And Bill, make sure they are straight on from front and side, If they are at a bit of an angle, it throws off your final cutout.

Bill:
What many of us do is cut one side first (side view or front view), and keep the scrap. Once you've finished cutting that side, put the scrap back on. I use a wrap of ordinary masking tape - others use hot melt glue - some (including me at times) just don't cut the scrap all the way off, leaving a small connecting place. The object is to put the block back together again, so when you cut the other view, you still have a flat block on the table of the bandsaw or scrollsaw.
