Hello everyone,
Glad to be a member, I just started whittling about a month ago & cant believe the enjoyment I can get from a block of wood & a simple knife. I look forward to reviewing this site for ideas & help. If you have any ideas for projects for beginners just shoot them in my direction.

Hello and welcome JSantiago. I'm new myself. I like the beginner projects you can find on youtube like the 5 minute wizard. I believe in the last Woodcarving Illustrated there was a 5 minute Santa. Just keep at it and practice, practice, practice. A sharp knife is your best friend. Good luck and safe carving. Paul
