I would probably glue it back together using 5 minute epoxy.

I have a few questions before adding any advice, because what type of repair you use depends a lot on exactly what type of damage has been done.

1. Does the piece fit back perfectly or are there "splinters" left between them that prevents precise contact between the pieces?

2. Will the break and repair be in an obvious spot or will the repair be hidden under other elements of the armoir?

3. Do you need to preserve the appearance of the finish at this spot?

4. Can you post a picture of the damaged area and of the broken piece?

Al

I agree with everything Al says and a pic of it all would help a lot. I was probably a little quick with my answer 'cause I've done quite a bit of this type of repair.
