Default My first try at carving

I am new at this! Just received my beginners carving kit from Little Shavers and carved this using the Calder triangle method(Woodcarving Magazine). Not great but I had a nice time trying anyway. Thoughts or comments are welcome.

You are off to a good start, Stephen. Save that first piece and you'll see great improvement in the future. It's really good to look back and see how far you have progressed.

That's an amazing start. I just started figuring out how to do hair. But, I am still a wet behind the ears pup.
