Is that Vancouver Canada? If so you have to order an Oar Carver from the USA I don't know of anyone up here that carries them. I agree with a lot of what was said. An Oar Carver is a nice knife. It is suited to small hands more so than my large ones. I also carve with Kershaw and Denny and Drake and Shipley and Helvie and Camillus and others. Yes a collection of tools. Each has merit but depending what type of wood or carving you do one might be more suited than another. I carved Hazelnut once and managed to snap the tip off of my Denny knife in the detail work of the mouth. Not enough slice on the turn. Looked like he had silver dental work done!
