Default My first Carving

This is my first attempt at carving .I tried a scream character that i decided to turn into a twin birdhouse. In each ear there is room for a swallow nest.

That's very interesting.....good work on the carving. I just wonder if it would be very inviting for the birds. I would run in the other direction if I saw that thing! Nice work for your first carving!

Thumbs up Re: My first Carving

Iam with Blake .. Iam not so sure the birds would go to that .. and that thing hanging on a pole at night might not be so special to the neighbors either

Good carving .. but will it fly ?

Gene

HEHEHE!!!! It's a little freaky, but you did a good job on the carving. It would probably keep 2 legged critters out of the yard! I might have to carve something like that for my yard! LOL

I wasn't expecting to see that! You tackled a pretty big project for your first carving and did a really good job. What kind of wood is under there? Did you use hand tools? or power? What did you paint it with?
I really think you used your imagination on this one, and it makes me look forward to seeing what you'll come up with next!
